Azael Alvarez - Holes

I just finished reading this amazing book.  This book is about a kid named Stanley that is sent to Camp Green Lake because a pair of shoes landed on him when he was walking so he grabbed them and ran away but he didn't know they belonged to a famous baseball player shortly the cops came and arrested him.  Camp Green Lake is a place were kids that have committed a crime he had the choice to go to jail or Camp Green Lake.  He chooses the camp.  So they take him to camp far away were it is barren.  At the camp there was a councilor named Mr.Sir and he explained to him what to do.  He had to dig a hole five feet deep and five feet wide you would dig one each the way you would measure was the shovel.  They would just have to dig but if they came across something they would have to tell the councilor.  He met a kid named Zero well that is what they called him.  They called him Zero because he didn't talk he did not know how to read but he was really good at math.  Later Stanley found out that he was there because of Zero he had dropped the shoes.  Stanley's family believes there is a curse that runs in there family because of there great great grandfather.  They are always at the wrong place at the wrong time.  His dad tries to break the curse
