Keeper of the Lost Cities- Seasia Kong

I just finished reading the book Keeper of the Lost Cities. Sophie is a twelve year old girl who just met this boy out of now where. The boy she met was a boy named Fitz. Fitz takes her to this new world and tells her that she doesn't belong is this wold. She didn't understand, but he told her that she has powers and that she is living with humans. Fitz is an elf and so is Sophie, but she never knew that. Fitz and Sophie went to her "family" and she took their memories away so they didn't know that they were living with an elf. Sophie was upset that she left everything behind, but she didn't leave her cat. Sophie was introduced to Fitz family and they were expecting Sophie because she was the missing piece of what they needed. She is a telepath which she can read peoples minds. She has secrets in her head, but no one can get in her head not even the strongest telepathy can. So people are trying get it out of her. Sophie was given a bracelet from Fitz's family so she can transport to places. She transferred herself to France, but got herself into trouble. These people take her and the drugged her. Everyone in Fitz world thought she died because didn't comeback for a few days and she never responded to anybody when they talked to her in her mind. Sophie was in a chair drugged and the people tried taking her memories, but they have to focus really hard to read her thoughts, but it's impossible. Sophie uses her powers to call Fitz, but he isn't answering. After a while she got him. Fitz was relieved that she was still alive and he got help and saved her. Sophie is now safe because of Fitz and she is living with her uncle and aunt.
