The book is all about four girls who start a club all about babysitting. The main character is Kristy, who is the founder of the club. The story tells about Kristy, who's family is divorced, Mary Anne, who's mom died when she was young, Stacey, who is strangely dieting even though she is extremely skinny, and Claudia, who hides snacks almost everywhere. Since its a graphic novel, I can't really go into too much detail, but I'll try!
In the beginning, we meet up with a flashback to a rather hot Tuesday in Kristy's seventh grade class. After she leaves, she meets up with her best friend, Mary Anne. After they leave school together, they both run to Kristy's house to watch her little brother, David Michael. After awhile, Kristy's mom comes home and brings pizza for her and her three brothers. During dinner, Kristy's mom says that she needs a sitter for David Michael. Of course, everyone, including Kristy, is busy. Then, Kristy had a brilliant idea: a babysitters club! The book is all about the adventures the four girls have taken on during their wild ride. Such as taking care of two dogs, saving a brother and sister from a nasty witch, and dealing with seven kids! Over all, this is a great remake of Ann. M Martin's novel, The Baby-Sitters Club.
