The Mark of Athena - Rick Riordan Julia Bock

This book is 580 pages.
The Mark of Athena starts with the Greek demigods from Camp Half-Blood, coming to Camp Jupiter to retrieve Percy in a Greek warship. The Romans think the ship is a weapon, being a warship, and are a bit shaken by the sight of it. Annabeth, Piper, and Jason depart from the ship, leaving Leo to make sure the ship is okay. When Annabeth sees Percy a few minutes later after their arrival, they run into each others arms. Also, if I forgot to mention, Annabeth didn't see Percy for almost 8 months. Oops. Anyway, after Reyna, the camp's praetor, holds a small meeting with the centurions and the other praetor, Percy Jackson, they hold a feast of friendship welcoming the arrival of the Greeks. Though during the feast, Octavian, the augur at Camp Jupiter starts to recite the few lines of The Prophecy of Seven that he knows, until he is cut short by Ella the harpy, whom starts speaking of a different prophecy. Luckily, Percy and his two friends he met at Camp Jupiter, Hazel and Frank, cover for Ella by saying it wasn't a prophecy. (In the previous book by Rick Riordan, The Son of Neptune, it was discovered that Ella read the Sibylline books, were a collection of.. well, oracles. They were said to have been able to tell the future.) Reyna and Annabeth talk while Reyna shows her around New Rome, which is somewhat connected to Camp Jupiter. During their conversation, an explosion was heard. It had come from the Agro II. Annabeth rushes over, where the Romans have started to throw food at the Greeks, for they thought the attack was on purpose. Octavian emerges from the Agro, and exclaims that Leo had intentionally fired on New Rome. After hearing this, the Romans begin to set up catapults. The six demigods(Percy, Jason, Piper, Annabeth, Hazel, and Frank)quickly get on the ship, leaving Camp Jupiter far behind.
