I just finished reading this funny and awesome book. This book is about a kid named Greg that had a journal that said it was a diary in front so if anyone saw him with it they would tell the whole school and he would get laughed at. So his brother saw him with it and he tried reading it and Greg wanted Rodrick his older brother to keep it a secret. So he did and for the rest of the year even he was about to enter a new school when he did not do something for Rodrick he would say that he was going to tell every one. One time their parents left them alone while the parents went out of state and Rodrick threw a big party with his friends. But Rodrick locked Greg in the basement. After the party was done someone opens the the door and he gets out. He told him to help him clean up and do not tell his parents.
One day Rodrick got really mad at Greg so he told his friends about the secret but when they were passing it on a couple of people messed up the details. So they thought a different thing. Greg was embarrassed to go to school but when he walked in everyone was giving him high-fives and things like that.
I really liked this book because the author grabs my attention.
