The Book I read is called "The Scorch Trials" the authors name is James Dashner, the book has 361 pages. The book is about a boy named Thomas who saved at least 10 people from the maze they got out of. So now the people who watched them over 4 years and kept them in a building with other kids that were in a different maze and did the same thing as Thomas and the others. There is a girl named Dr. Paige, she is the girl that kept them in the maze.  Thomas thought the place was very skeptical, and he saw that Teresa was afraid because she was being taken by guards to be examined on and long story short Thomas and the other 10 people try to break out and when they do they have to find shelter because their in the desert for a long time. What happened in the end is that they find people with a disease that kind of turns them in a zombie like form and the name the "Gladers"  call them are cranks. Then they find a another building that has living people and they are trying to find a place out so they can live a better life and not have to be running all the time.
